At Ciwidey, you can see a beautiful white crater or called Kawah Putih by locals, it is located at the outskirt of Bandung, west Java, Indonesia. It is around 46 km or approx. two to three hour ride (depend on traffic) from Bandung. You are required to pay an entrance ticket fee of IDR 15,000 per person and an additional IDR 5,000 for motorcycles. Along the path to the crater there would be many locals selling you small pouches of sulfur that they claimed can be a remedy for your skin problem. There are also locals selling your maskers as the sulfur odor around the crater is quite strong, so if you are not too keen with the strong odor, you might want to bring along a shawls or masker.
Not only popular as a tourist spot, the Kawah Putih is also a popular venue for prewedding shoots and film shooting, due to its beautiful white scenery.
